We’re sure you’ll enjoy the informal atmosphere at The Mead. It’s like coming to a private country house but with all the luxuries of a hotel. Whether you’re here for a weekend break, business trip, special event, meal, spa treatment or longer holiday, our aim is to make your visit a really special experience. You’ll notice lots of individual touches and enjoy attentive, but never intrusive, service.

Dining at the Mead
The whole team pride ourselves on your dining experience. We only use fresh, local ingredients sourced from the finest farms and markets in Norfolk to ensure you enjoy your meal with us and heartily recommend us to your family and friends.
Executive Chef, Damien Woollard and our experienced team design the menus around locally sourced, quality ingredients to provide a simply delightful dining experience.
Our range of wine has been carefully selected to complement the menus and ensure that everyone can find a wine that they love at the Norfolk Mead.

£31.50 2 Course – £40.00 3 Course
We do not allow dogs inside the main Hotel. We welcome dogs in our Walled Garden. Dogs are allowed to stay in Juniper, Crab Apple and Sweet Chestnut for an additional £20.00 per night.

We are situated in the Norfolk Broads National Park in Coltishall with stunning grounds which lead down to the River Bure. We have a private lake which is a haven for wildlife.
