The main A11 road passes close by providing easy access to the city centre in less than 10 minutes by car or bus.
Restaurant & Bar The Red Lion is owned by Paul and Laura Wilson. Other family run pubs include the Recruiting Sergeant Horstead near Coltishall and the Black Boys Hotel Aylsham. All three establishments display the same quality, friendliness and attention to detail that have made them so successful. Well kept lagers and ales from the bar include Courage Directors, Greene King IPA and Adnams Broadside plus ever changing guest beers. A selection of fine wines and specialilty coffees are available to complement your meal or enjoy on their own. The restaurant menus cater for both traditional and more imaginative tastes using produce from local suppliers wherever possible including Swannington Farm to Fork for prime cuts of locally reared meat. Booking is advisable. Accommodation The Red Lion offers Bed & Breakfast in six comfortable bedrooms combining traditional style with modern comforts. Three of the rooms are located in the refurbished stable annexe and are completely self-contained with their own private entrance.
