The Blakeney Hotel with its quayside location has magnificent views across the estuary and salt marshes to Blakeney Point, which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Hotel Restaurant, Bar and Terrace

The hotel's restaurant, bar and terrace have panoramic views over the estuary. The Hotel offers a range of hearty English or Continental breakfasts, light lunches, local, seasonal a la carte and daily table d’hote menus for residents and non-residents.

In recognition of the quality of our food we have been awarded an AA rosette for 5 consecutive years. We have a wide selection of draught beers and lagers as well as an extensive wine list to complement your meal.

Conferences

The Mayflower conference suite is a perfect venue to accommodate large or small conferences and functions or intimate dinner parties. The suite comprises the Trinity, Victory, Trafalgar and Revenge rooms which have adjustable sliding walls. Individually they can be used for syndicate rooms or functions, or can be used in combination for up to 240 delegates theatre style.

Hotel Accommodation


Many of the sixty rooms have wonderful views over the estuary and salt marshes. Some have balconies or south facing garden views and others have patios leading onto the gardens. The hotel can accommodate children requiring cots and extra beds and some of the ground floor rooms are ideal for guests with dogs. We also have some rooms with interconnecting doors.

There are also some single rooms available. All rooms have private bathroom, beverage making facilities, digital TV, direct dial telephones, hair dryers and bathrobes. The hotel has its own car park.

Leisure and Relaxation

Take time to relax in our stylish leisure facility. The heated swimming pool has its own changing and shower rooms, and overlooks the sun terrace and south facing gardens.

There is also a steam room, sauna, spa bath and an air-conditioned mini gym.

Children - In The Hotel

Children are very welcome at the Blakeney Hotel. We offer free accommodation for children during school holidays when sharing an adult's room. Children’s tea and lunch menu are available or half portions from our table d’hote menu. We have digital TV with children’s channels, an indoor swimming pool, a games room with table tennis, pool and darts. We also have a wide selection of board games.

There are plenty of places to visit and things to do for children in North Norfolk. Beaches - wide open sandy beaches and ragged pebbly beaches, Crabbing on the Quay, Seal trips, Mud sliding in Quay (bring lots of old clothes), Dinosaur Park, Cycling, Railway - Bure valley, Museum - Cromer, State of the art Lifeboat - Cromer Pier, Bewilderwood, Hunstanton Sealife centre, Cromer Zoo.

Christmas House Party

Four Day House Party from the afternoon of Friday 24th December to after breakfast on Tuesday 28th December 2010.  Includes:  Visit to the pantomime at the Theatre Royal, Norwich, outing to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, cookery demonstration by Mark Mitson, our Head Pastry Chef, casino night and evening entertainment. Rates start from £734 per person.

New Year

Minimum two day stay to include New Year’s Eve and either Thursday 30th December or Saturday 1st January.  Friday 31st December includes afternoon cream tea, champagne reception in the cocktail bar followed by dinner in the restaurant and dancing in the Mayflower Suite with champagne at midnight to welcome in the New Year. Rates start from £156 per person per night.

There are many walks along the north Norfolk coastal path over sandy beaches, salt marshes and cliffs. Places to visit include the halls at Blickling, Felbrigg, Holkham, Houghton, Sandringham, and many historic Norfolk churches and charming villages. The city of Norwich is only one hour away and the towns of King’s Lynn, Holt and Aylsham are full of history and interest.

There are many leisure pursuits to enjoy, including sailing, fishing, bird-watching, golf, crabbing and cycling to name but a few and don’t forget the seal trips by boat to Blakeney Point. Plus the beautiful family beaches at Wells and Holkham. The Blakeney Hotel is the ideal place to relax and unwind and savour the unique flavours of the north Norfolk coast.
