The Valley Restaurant at Wensum Valley Hotel

The Valley Restaurant is open to non residents 7 days a week with Breakfast served from 7am and last orders for Dinner at 9.30pm.

The menus are designed to offer a delicious variety to suit all palates. There is a table d'hôte menu that changes daily and a seasonal a la carte. The Chef creates numerous specials and our local Butcher provides us with some great steaks! Our restaurant enjoys spectacular views over the golf course and the Wensum Valley.

We serve our Sunday Lunch Carvery style; available from 12.30pm until 2.30pm. Prices start at £9.95 for a main course. We are lucky to have a Resident Pianist who plays most weeks adding that extra special touch. Our Carvery is especially popular with family gatherings, birthday parties and anniversaries.

On selected Friday and Saturday nights we also serve the Carvery from 6.30pm until 9.30pm which complements the a la carte menu and gives guests flexibility and choice, please check when making your reservation that this will be available.

Vegetarians are not forgotten and the Chef will prepare a number of alternatives for you to choose from. The Chefs will do their best to accommodate any dietary requirements or special requests.

We have a good variety of reasonably priced wines with include traditional French, exciting South Americans and popular Australians.

Our hospitality team take great pride in the high standards of our menus. All dishes are freshly cooked to order using fresh local produce and prepared by our dedicated chefs.

For as little as £2.90, draught choices include 2 lagers, 2 real ales, 2 ciders, Guinness and a cream flow bitter. Bottled beers are available and also a non-alcoholic version for the designated driver.

House wine is available by the glass and if you want to share a bottle we can sort that out too! We have a wide variety of sprits and liqueurs from home and abroad, also a large selection of soft drinks such as J2O, Appletise, Coca-Cola and ginger beer to quench your thirst.

Entertainment includes 2 full size snooker tables, pool and darts. We have 2 widescreen televisions showing 'Sky Sports and ESPN' as well as a large projection screen for all those big sporting occasions.

The Bar area is extremely spacious so we can cater for all your entertainment needs.

Bar Snacks and meals are available from 7am to 10pm daily.

A great choice is available including traditional Fish and Chips - our generous Cod portions come from a local supplier and are line caught then frozen at sea, we believe this is the freshest way to enjoy this great dish.

Wensum Valley Hotel is licensed for civil weddings and can comfortably seat up to 100 guests in our Fairway suite, overlooking the Golf Course.

Our Function rooms allow us to cater for up to 180 for a wedding breakfast and 250 for an evening reception. We understand that every couple and therefore every wedding is a unique event so we offer a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to assist you with every stage of planning your wedding at the hotel.
