About The Lodge
Victoria King and all her staff would like to welcome you to The Lodge restaurant and bar in North Tuddenham, near Dereham, Norfolk. During the summer of 2007 we completely refurbished this 19th century Public House to bring in an eclectic mix of old and new.

Following the reopening on Friday 3rd August we have quickly earned a reputation as one of the premier eateries in the region of Norfolk. Where possible our produce is sourced locally, guaranteeing the quality & freshness of the ingredients of the food in our restaurant which is prepared by our head chef, and his enthusiastic team to create an outstanding, memorable meal every time.

Why not come and enjoy some first class food from our restaurant with first class service, good beers & real ales and an extensive wine list in a friendly & relaxing ambience, out of the hustle and bustle of the town centre with our own enclosed family garden & lovely views. We have ample parking Private hire of restaurant is available and we welcome small conference bookings.

Our menus are changed weekly & sometimes daily to incorporate seasonal produce, the menus shown are examples of previous menus and may not be current but will certainly give you an idea of our style of food and choice available.

Functions at the Lodge

The Lodge in Tuddenham, Norfolk is the ideal place to hold functions. We catering for private parties, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries.  Free evening room hire with minimum numbers of 20 (Tues - Thursday) Minimum numbers fri & sat 30

Conference & meetings
Full and half day delegate packages available upon request. Did you know we exclusively hire the lodge as a meeting venue on a Monday when we are closed to the general public. If discretion is important then book the lodge as your venue.
Garden Hire!! We will host Garden parties for you with BBQ
ideal for Christening and anniversary or birthday parties in the enclosed family garden

Weddings
We are now becoming known as an intimate and exclusive wedding venue for the smaller more discerning couples ideal venue. A day matched to your needs.

Hours of work

Mondays: Closed all day (except for private hire events)

Tuesday - Saturday: Open 12 noon with food served from 12 - 9pm

Sunday: Open at 11.30 food served from 12 - 3
(we do not open Sunday evenings)

Locations

The Lodge public house is easily accessible just off the A47, about 4 miles east of Dereham, about 10 west of Norwich.

If travelling east on the A47, i.e. from Dereham towards Norwich, take the left hand exit near the end of the dual-carriageway signposted Lyng and North Tuddenham. At the next junction turn left, and the Lodge is then a little further along on the B1110 on the right hand side.

If travelling west on the A47, i.e. from Norwich towards Dereham, take the left hand exit near the start of the dual-carriageway signposted Lyng and North Tuddenham. At the next junction turn right (signposted Norwich/Dereham), then after crossing the bridge over the A47 turn left onto Low Road West. The Lodge is then a little further along on the B1110 on the right hand side.

If travelling from the north area, i.e. from the A1067 Fakenham-Norwich road, turn off between Bawdeswell and Lenwade at the junction signposted to Lyng. When you enter Lyng, follow the road round to the right through the village, pass a garage on the left, then take the next left. Stay on this road all the way into North Tuddenham where the Lodge is on the right.
