Neptune Inn & Restaurant
85 Old Hunstanton Road
Old Hunstanton, Norfolk PE36 6HZ
A restaurant where we predominantly use local ingredients such as Thornham oysters and lamb from The Little Farming Company pork from Courtyard Farm which have helped us gain one Michelin star and three AA rosettes in our first year. A Touch of New England on the North Norfolk Coast The Neptune Inn & Restaurant’s owners Kevin and Jacki Mangeolles have given this charming 18th century coaching inn a new look. Think New England, blended with touches of Old Norfolk, in the white clapboard walls, model boats, framed black and white photos of the surrounding coast, and the laid-back charm of Lloyd Loom sofas and chairs in the bar, lounge and dining room. Add to that a roaring fire, fresh flowers, polished dark wood floors, and cosy bedrooms with their white furniture, and you get a stylish tranquillity. Then there’s the food. Chef Kevin Mangeolles, formally of the George hotel where he held a Michelin star for 9 years, takes great pride in his cooking and sources as much as he can locally, from the oysters and mussels down the road at Thornham to quinces grown on the neighbouring farm. In September 08 we were awarded the 'AA Triple Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence' and a Michelin star in January 2009. The Restaurant Kevin & Jacki hope to welcome you to our restaurant where we predominantly use local ingredients such as Thornham oysters and lamb from The Little Farming Company pork from Courtyard Farm which have helped us gain one Michelin star and three AA rosettes in our first year.
